Along the Campaign Trail…

Thanks!!!

May 25th, 2010 Posted in campaign events | No Comments »

To Our Supporters and Friends:

The past 15 months have been an incredible experience. I have had the pleasure of running for a spot on the GOP ballot for 2010 United States Senate for Colorado.

I regret to inform you that we did not make the ballot in the caucus system of Colorado at the state convention.Let me thank everyone that did support me. I have met some of the most wonderful and interesting people over the past year in my life. The grass roots people of Colorado are real Americans that are willing to fight for our country.

I do hope that if any of you ever come through Denver you will look me up. I would always welcome some time to chat and have coffee or tea with you. I might even do the same when I come through your part of Colorado.

Keep up the fight we must stop this socialist movement that is going on in our country. I pray that those that make it from the GOP side will have the backbone to stand up and say no more and stand up to the foolishness in Washington.

Our country is in trouble and yet I fear that many think it is going to turn around just because some in our party believe this it is automatic after what Obama has done to us. It is not automatic. I believe unless we put the right leadership in office we will not see a difference.

I have gone to over 900 places in the past year throughout Colorado. I have added 68,000 miles to my Ford truck. I have been in ever type business in Colorado. Delivered a calf, help round up hogs, rode some beautiful horses and walked in every parade in the state while doing it with the most conservative message on the trail. We did all this within our

budget and many of you helped us with your contribution of which I am grateful. So, hard work obviously is not the answer.

This is a year we will all remember and this is a year we will make history and I do hope it is for the good of America.

Thanks to everyone that has supported us and I hope your days ahead are with prosperity and peace.

I especially what to thank all the wonderful people that volunteered to help us move this campaign forward. With out those that who gave so much effort to this campaign we could not have gotten our message out.

This website will shut down on Monday, May 24.

Tidwell Town Hall Meetings

April 19th, 2010 Posted in Town Hall Meetings, campaign events | No Comments »

Character is doing the right thing when nobody’s looking. There
are too many people who think that the only thing that’s right is
to get by, and the only thing that’s wrong is to get caught.
~J.C. Watts

Cleve Tidwell bases his campaign on his personal character. While other candidates go after each other on the Assembly Trail, Tidwell chose the high road. His campaign has been run on the foundation of integrity. Knowing that he has a job to do in Washington, Tidwell considers first, his responsibility to represent the people in a respectful, stateman-like manner while standing solid on the voice of the people.

His responsibility is to represent the people first and foremost in the position of U.S. Senate.

You have an opportunity to tell Cleve Tidwell what you’d like him to do, at the TownHall Meetings. See Calendar or TownHall Meetings for Dates, times and places.

Cleve Tidwell’s Passion for the People of Colorado

March 3rd, 2010 Posted in campaign events | No Comments »

At a ROAR Colorado event at the VFW in Golden tonight, a voter commented, “I can feel his passion. He’s dedicated to the people of Colorado and he’s made a commitment. I know he’s the candidate who will do the most good for the people in Washington.”

Tidwell started his campaign speech with, “We are being lead down the wrong road by the nose.” He explained why he stood up to take action against current administrative choices coming out of Washington, sharing a trip to Honduras and his departure.

A young woman who lived there, who had spent time fighting for her country this past year, when the people of Honduras removed the President and sent him to Costa Rica because he wasn’t following their Constitution asked him, “What will you tell your grandchildren, when the United States no longer has freedom and liberty?”

Tidwell paused and the audience gasped and sighed… “I have to ask you, what will you tell YOUR grandchildren when we no longer have freedom and liberty? Will you tell them you sat by and allowed it to happen? Or will you have done something to change the direction of government, to prevent the fall into socialism?”

“People, we’ve got to take action today and get this nation back on the right road,” Tidwell stated with the same kind of quiet passion that has brought audiences across the state to their feet at the 735 previous appearances, he’s made. “No bill should be more than 100 pages. People we have to stop the lobbyists and lawyers in Washington by electing people who understand the necessity of meeting payroll, cutting costs and following the constitution.”

The event ended in silence as people thought about what had been said, quietly voicing their encouragement and support of Tidwell for U.S. Senate. More events are planned and Tidwell’s voice is becoming stronger and stronger. The people recognize his leadership and strength. The know how valuable his business experience and background can be in the position of U.S. Senate.

Cleve Tidwell – Montrose Event Successful

February 11th, 2010 Posted in campaign events | No Comments »

What is it you call a successful event? Is it an event where the people meet the candidate and say how much they agree with his policies, how unhappy they are with current status quo in the government, or chatter about how much they appreciate the candidate taking a stand, making a difference, and running for an office where he can cut taxes, implement tax decreases, and build a better government that isn’t bigger? If that’s the case, Montrose was incredibly successful.

People of Montrose, and the western slopes of Colorado, love the Cleve Notes sent out by the campaign, stating the purpose and reason Cleve Tidwell chose to run for office and his position on the issues. These notes and messages have served to connect the people of Colorado into one cohesive group of conservative operatives, ready to make a difference. The people of Colorado are standing up, becoming somebody with their voice appealing loudly to Congress and the House of Representatives to cut the flack in Washington and make the economy improve by getting out of the way of the people.

Cleve Tidwell has heard those voices. A vote for Cleve Tidwell in November of 2010 is a vote for freedom, liberty and an economically sound America. Tidwell understands the importance of cutting taxes and making tax credits already on the books available indefinitely for those who are generating business, creating jobs and making a difference for Americans of all walks of life. He not only understands the importance, he’s there ready to take office and make the vote asked of the people of this fine state.

Your support is requested to make this happen. Whether you wish to send money, prayers or your voice, we welcome your comments in the section below. (ALL comments are reviewed before posting.)
