Cleve Tidwell Addresses “The Transformation”
February 13, 2010—Part 1 of Series (1 of 5) “Transformation”
Last week was the one-year anniversary of Obama’s reign to make good on his promise to “transform” America. With diligent effort and narcissistic focus, our union of states governed of the people, by the people, for the people are under attack by a union of elite special interest groups (think SEUI, ACORN, AFL-CIO, UAW, NEA, etc.). One does not have to look too deep to see that this transformation is a scheme designed to pull the people of the United States toward socialism, communism, and Marxism.
We have just finished the first course from the Obama menu of forced feeding as served to you through Congress. Three courses remain. Do you have food poisoning yet?
• 10 percent unemployment (17.3 percent when underemployment and those who have given up are factored)
• Waste of $787 million labeled “stimulus” proving why government is incompetent to run a mail system let alone an economy
• Record-setting spending—$3.5 trillion in 365 days with over 1,000 shopping days to go
• Phantom crises labeled global warming and “too big to fail”—hallucinations sold on the road to tyranny
• A penchant for mothering terrorists whose purpose is to leave our children parentless
• Delayed action for deployment of more troops to Afghanistan, but swift action for the opportunity of a “teaching moment” and a Bud Light out on the Rose Garden patio
With a promise of transformation, Obama demonstrated his delusion that life in America is not about good citizens or good neighbors, but his version is about good comrades. The current administration is not fighting for America, but current leaders are fighting against America. The leader of the free world seems intent on becoming ruler of the world. With Czars in the White House and comrades in Congress the promise of transformation is instep with socialism, Marxism, and the Communist Party of China.
Dictatorship cannot be sugarcoated. No matter how you present the plate, “for the common good” has never produced a happy ending.
Our ancestors lived under tyranny. They knew the lie of the socialist, communist, fascist, Marxist utopia. They escaped subjugation with resolute determination to live a life of liberty and freedom. To believe that one man should be allowed to control another by force is nothing less than astounding, knowing the sacrifice of our ancestors lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.
History proves that when government promises to feed you—to purport that they can provide for you better than you can provide for yourself—you will be a pawn in a story with an unpleasant ending. History sparks repetition when ignored.
Ignorance is ruling Washington and, thus, ruling us. In November, you have the opportunity to rid Washington of ignorance, drive out the liars, the deceivers and those who would take away your freedom and remove your liberty.
I am, Cleve Tidwell, a Marine veteran and proud descendant of an American Revolutionary patriot. I will defend the Constitution of our United States. I will stand on principles of truth, Rule of Law, and strong military defense of Americans (not terrorists). I am an international businessman. I stand on the principles of fiscal responsibility and personal accountability. I choose to represent the great citizens of Colorado in the U.S. Senate because I know a politician can’t do the job. Only the people can do the work of liberty.
