The Political Machine v. Service to the People

Cleve Tidwell serves the peopleConsidering the basis of the Cleve Tidwell campaign: fiscal responsibility, limited government, strong national defense with an emphasis on integrity, independence and willingness to stand up to the political machine — Scott Brown WON on those fundamental strategies. But, it’s all more than just strategy.

Cleve Tidwell understands that using “strategy” to win a seat in the U.S. Senate, may get you there, but it won’t make you successful. His fundamental strategy is more than simply a way to get into the seat, his campaign foundation is a way of life that has bode him well for more than 60 years. He lives with integrity, independence and a willingness to stand up and be counted when he differs with the crowd.

Those tax paying voters who made the difference in Massachusetts, and the same tax paying voters who will make a difference in November of 2010, understand the value of electing principled men into office to carry the torch for the people of the United States. Tax paying voters differ from the Democratic core supporters who managed to roll over for undefined “change” and elect the current administration into office.

For years, Democrats have insisted they were the “party of the people”, a giving party that supported the people of the world. And yet… members of the Republican party on average, make less money, give more to charity, and engage more often in service opportunities that actually SERVE the people of the world.

Democrats are good at giving away “other people’s money” and instigating “public options” but rarely do they personally involve themselves in acts of benevolence.

Voters from any party are disgusted by the Cash for (fill-in-the-blank) bailouts, closed door policies and stimulus giveaways that just don’t seem to ever get back to the people. Voters and tax payers are exhausted by the unreasonable demands of government, particularly of a government that continues to grow outside the bounds of reason, stealing from future generations and defying the requests and demands of the people. Voting tax payers are disgusted and angry – yes, ANGRY! – with the culture of corruption in Washington.

Brown won a landmark victory in Massachusetts on the premise of fiscal responsibility, limited government and a strong national defense. I’m Cleve Tidwell and I believe it’s time for conservative Americans to stand tall and carry the load of service to country.

The political machine must die to service by real Americans who believe in the Constitution, Freedom and Liberty. Congress and Legislature positions are not meant to be career opportunities, but rather a place where men serve their country and then leave to rejoin the work force of America.

It’s time to remove the political machine in exchange for men who CHOOSE to serve the people of the United States by supporting fiscal responsibility, the Constitution and the rights of the people.
